Our standard expansion tank allows for the expansion and contraction of a hydronic system and provides for proper pressurization under different operating conditions. We recommend using ASHRAE’s latest guide and data book for determining your tank volume requirements.
The catalog “C” model expansion tank drawing is our standard tank. Please consult the factory for expansion tanks built to your specific specifications if changes are required.
Our expansion tanks are designed for 150 psi A.S.M.E. code with stamp and are tested at 225 psi. The “C” model tanks are thoroughly power wire-brushed and prime painted prior to shipment. The “CG” model is our standard hot-dipped galvanized expansion tank.
